Construction Online
Constructionline is the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related contractors and consultants. Owned and endorsed by the DTI, Constructionline is a contributor to the Rethinking Construction initiative.

CHAS
Over the years local authority health and safety and procurement professionals, with the support of the Health and Safety Executive, have developed the Contractor Health and Safety assessment scheme (CHAS). The scheme is available for use by any public and private sector organizations to use when shortlisting contractors, suppliers and consultants (companies) who apply to work for them. It provides information about the health and safety part of their application.

Companies apply to join the scheme so everyone knows they meet acceptable standards of health and safety compliance. Clients from both the public and private sectors are users of the scheme and our database.

CITA
Formed in 1984 and owned by its members, the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) is a full service, non-profit making trade association, providing support to companies involved in the ‘channels to market’ of customer or ‘enterprise’ communications products and services, across terminal/application equipment and the supporting cabling and wireless infrastructure systems.

TIA provides support for its members through influence over regulatory policy, competition issues, technical and quality standards, national and global business development as well as actively encouraging best practice. Informal partnerships with trade associations around the world such as the US TIA, BICSI, Communication Management Association (CMA) and the Telecommunications Users’ Association (TUA), and representation at all levels of Government including OFCOM and the DTI, ensures TIA members have a voice and influence over every issue affecting the industry.

TIA has recently renamed itself - CITA.
